A message of thanks

Commenting after the final home meeting of the season, Hammers Co-promoter Jon Cook has expressed his thanks on behalf of the club.

“Our thanks go to the fans of the Vortex Lakeside Hammers for your fantastic support over this traumatic season and especially to all those who contributed to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund collection last night, which raised a total of £1135 for a great cause.

A big thank you also goes to the Hammers Speedway Friends Facebook Group and the Hagon Shocks Academy kids for their sterling efforts in going around the Raceway with the collection buckets.

We would also like to thank all of our track staff for their commitment and of course all of our sponsors and our riders.”
