Ashley Birks injured

Hammers reserve Ashley Birks was taken to hospital last night with a suspected dislocated shoulder and suspected broken collarbone, following a crash when riding for his Premier League Club Sheffield at Glasgow.  All at The Hammers wish Ash a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, Kim Nilsson crashed during a meeting in Sweden, suffering a shoulder injury, which appears to be muscle related. The Swedish star aims to have an X-Ray this morning, but hopes to be back on the bike as soon as possible.
