Ben Fund high

The Vortex Hammers wish to thank their fans for raising another incredible amount for the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund, with Fridays collection of  £1,305.

Benevolent Fund controller Paul Ackroyd commented “We are grateful to the fans for supporting the fund with such enthusiasm and when added to the total that Hammers fans raised at the start of the year supporting Hammers fan Antony Warren who ran the London Marathon, it means that Lakeside have added £1,732 in total, a terrific effort.”

The Vortex Hammers thank all those who gave so generously on Friday,  along with the senior riders and the Hagon Academy kids for a great effort in collecting the money on the night.
