Celebration a Success
Lakeside Hammers enjoyed a successful day at the World Speedway Riders Association Celebration of Speedway event at the Paradise Wildlife Park, with Hammers manager Will Pottinger and riders Ben Morley and Alfie Bowtell in attendance.
Our official Merchandise partners Image On displayed the new Hammers merchandise, whilst the Hammers Committee met with many Hammers and speedway fans, distributing a large number of our Childrens Concession tickets via the Hammers Community Project.
The Hammers Committee would like to thank the Morley family for their support today, Gareth Arthur for the supply of our Hammers Gazebo on this and many occasions, Will, Alfie and Lakesidelive.
Following the printing of a first run of 5,000 new flyers, a special mention to Matt Udall who will be distributing flyers at London Raiders Ice Hockey team meetings, as part of our Community Programme Sporting partnership, and to Joseph Piccolo who will be distributing flyers within his local area
The new merchandise will be available on-line shortly, as will a range of A4 posters for fans to download and print.

Track staff meeting
The next event is the Track staff meeting on Wednesday 28th February at 7.30pm in the Raceway Tavern at The Arena Essex Raceway. All of our regular Track Staff are asked to attend, and the club are also always looking for new Track Staff volunteers to help out on race night at The Arena Essex Raceway. Hammers Networking event
The following event inaugural Lakeside Hammers Business Networking event, which will take place at The Hammers local hospitality partner, The Thurrock Hotel on Thursday 8th March between 4pm and 6pm.
