The Vortex Lakeside Hammers are all set for action following their practice at The Raceway on Wednesday.

Joined by an impressive looking Kelvin Tatum,  the 2015 team went through their paces and are now ready for the season opener, the Remembering #Rico Spring Classic this Friday. Action gets underway at 7pm with the National League pairs appetizer, prior to the main event which starts at 8pm, when the 2015 Hammers take on Lee’s All Stars.

The Hagon Academy Kids will also take to the track during the evening and will be joined in action by 14 year old Sara Cords from the USA,  who is creating a storm with impressive displays racing against the boys across the Atlantic.

The Vortex Hammers Co-Promoter Jon Cook commented “It was terrific to see the boys back on track and the early signs look good. Friday is a great way to start our season and hopefully we have something to entertain everyone,  with racing at all levels to remember Lee in a fitting way with a great night of racing.”
