Hammers hunt win

The Vortex Lakeside Hammers are aiming to turn their season around this Friday night at The Arena Essex Raceway (29th May) when The Belle Vue Aces are the visitors.

The Hammers will be at full strength, with Andreas Jonsson back to lead the team at Number 1 and Edward Kennett who has recovered from a hand injury.

Hammers Co-Promoter Jon Cook, who takes charge of the team with Neil Vatcher away on Under 21 duty commented “Belle Vue bring a tough challenge, strengthened by guests, but it’s our team which has the class to show the fans that we have what it takes to rescue the season.

I can guarantee all our supporters we will give our all come Friday night, to get us back to winning ways.”

The meeting parade is scheduled to start at 7.45pm, with the first race at 8pm. In addition there will be three demonstration races involving youngsters from the Hagon Shocks Academy at 7.30pm before the main Elite league match.

Tickets are available at the gate, or can be purchased in advance via the homepage of the Hammers site.
