Hammers on cup crusade

The Lakeside Hammers will turn their attention to Knockout Cup Final glory this Friday, 30th September, when the team take on the legendary Belle Vue Aces at the Arena-Essex Raceway. The Essex based Club’s Elite League aspirations ended on Monday evening with defeat at Eastbourne but the team aim to bounce back with victory on Friday.

The Hammers Co Promoter Jon Cook commented: “We gave the Eagles a fight over the two legs of the Play Off Semi Final that belied the difference in the final League standings of both teams and we now move on to try to keep the season alive against Belle Vue. We have three riders determined to make amends for below par performances on Monday and three other equally determined to keep up their good form and, together, we intend to battle for each and every point to reach the Cup Final”.

Fans are reminded that normal admission rates will apply on Friday. These are: – Adults – £16, Senior Citizens, Students and Disabled – £12, Unemployed and Children aged 17 and 18 – £10 and Children aged 6 to 16 inclusive – £3. Children under the age of 6 are free provided they are accompanied by a paying adult.

The Hammers Season Ticket holders will be able to use their Season Tickets for this home Knockout Cup Semi Final match against Belle Vue plus the Final, should the Club reach it.
