Hammers Select retain Tunnel Trophy
The Lakeside Hammers Select team successfully retained the Tunnel Trophy with a 41-49 victory over the Kent Kings at Central Park. Skipper Ben Morley top scored for the Hammers with 12 +2, whilst 16 year old Dan Gilkes impressed with paid 12 from reserve, including three wins.
Team Manager Mark Sexton commented:
“We’re delighted to have picked up the win with good contributions from the whole team. As ever Ben Morley led from the front, Jason Edwards and Richard Andrews provided a great engine room, but the undoubted star was young Daniel Gilkes who was making his debut at National League level”
