Kids for a quid offer extended

The Lakeside Hammers Speedway Club will again offer children, 6 to 16 year old, the chance to watch Elite League Speedway racing at the Arena-Essex Raceway this coming Bank Holiday Friday, 29th April, for just £1 (children under six are free) following the phenomenal success of Good Friday’s similar offer.

The Hammers will race against the Birmingham Brummies in an important Sky Sports Elite League match and youngsters can enjoy the added spectacle of watching racing under lights as the meeting starts at 8pm.

The Hammers Co Promoter Jon Cook commented: “We are working hard on increasing the appeal of Speedway racing to the wider population and we were extremely pleased with the numbers that watched the racing on Good Friday where we recorded our biggest crowd to date in our fifth year of promoting the Sport at our Essex based Raceway.

“Whilst not expecting to hit those heights again this week we intend to keep this offer in place so that more families can enjoy a night at the races with us on this second Bank Holiday this month.”
