Panthers v Hammers Play-Off Semi-Final Preview

Lakeside Head to Peterborough later today (Sunday, 5pm) for what is now the first leg of their Championship Play-Off Semi-Final clash.

The sides were due to meet at Rye House on Saturday, but poor weather saw the Hoddesdon meeting pushed back until next Sunday (October 14, 2pm).

In-form Hammers reserve Alfie Bowtell said: “It’s good to be back at full strength for the play-offs and as we all seem to have been saying lately, I think that could be really important for us.

“We’ve always been confident that we could put Peterborough under some pressure, and the boys have definitely given them plenty to think about now after knocking them out of the Shield last weekend.”

The new averages for October sees Zach Wajtknecht return to the main body of the team at number 2, with new National League Riders Champion Ben Morley switching to reserve.

For the Panthers, Steve Worrall comes in as a guest for injured Number 1 Scott Nicholls, Jordan Stewart comes in for Tom Bacon, whilst Rider Replacement operates for the injured Bradley Wilson-Dean.
