Lakeside-Hammers-vloggers-and-bloggers

Ahead of the new season, The Vortex Lakeside Hammers are looking for local young people who are currently undertaking a Media course, or those who wish to help spread the Hammers digital message both locally and across Essex.

As part of the Hammers successful Community Programme, the club aims to help local talent get involved with the Hammers in 2017, helping to produce additional content for the Hammers site and where possible for local and regional print and online publications.

The clubs Digital Manager Ian Smalley commented “We’re looking to provide opportunities to allow people to develop their reporting, blogging and vlogging skills.

We will provide access and opportunities to interview riders and club officials, and get behind the scenes before, during  & after our National League meetings.

Content will be published via our digital platforms,  a new section of the Hammers site which is currently being developed, and we will look to provide opportunities to supply additional content to our media outlets.

The Hammers Community Liaison Manager Mark Sexton, added:

“Speedway is an exciting, high speed sport, and we want aspiring content producers, or those currently undertaking Media courses to get involved and help spread the Hammers message across Essex.

Whilst helping to continue to increase awareness of the Hammers to different audiences, as part of the Education strand of our Community Programme we are also looking to help students on media related courses within local schools and colleagues by providing them with additional opportunities and experience.”
