The Vortex Hammers travel to Coventry on Friday night with the return 24-hours later at the Arena-Essex Raceway.

Club coach Kelvin Tatum admits it’s a vital phase of the season and the race for the top four is on.

“It would be a great achievement for us to make the play-offs and that’s our target,” he said.

“We want a big crowd at the Raceway on Saturday, it should be a great night and hopefully we will see lots of families there.  Coventry are a tough side to beat but we’ll be going for it and we know we must win our home meetings.”

The action will start at 7.45pm with a parade at 7.30 and fans are urged to turn out in force.
