The Vortex Hammers Season comes alive

The Vortex Lakeside Hammers kick started their season with a first ever away win at Poole on Wednesday evening and now all roads lead to the Arena Essex Raceway this Friday, 10th May, at 8pm as the team aims to continue their climb up the League table when they face the Peterborough Panthers.

The Vortex Hammers Co Promoter Jon Cook stated after Wednesday’s win at Poole: “We told the lads prior to our match at Poole that we needed a positive reaction after being dire on Monday at Coventry and we got it.

Turning things round midway through the match and coming back from ten points down to win was really some going and we look to carry that momentum into Friday’s home match against the Panthers.”

The teams for this Friday’s match are (in alphabetical order):

Vortex Lakeside Hammers: Lewis Bridger (Great Britain), Peter Karlsson (Sweden), Richard Lawson (Great Britain), Robert Mear (Great Britain), Kim Nilsson (Sweden), Piotr Swiderski (Poland) and Davey Watt (Australia).

Peterborough Panthers: Kenneth Bjerre (Denmark), Ryan Fisher (USA), Patrick Hougaard (Denmark), Nicolai Klindt (Denmark), Kenni Larsen (Denmark), Dakota North (Australia) and Linus Sundstrom (Sweden).

Tickets can be purchased on the night, or alternatively via the online store on the  main club site www.lakesidehammers.co
