Vortex Hammers aim to keep riding high

The Vortex Lakeside Hammers are back in track action at the Arena Essex Raceway on Friday night as they aim to keep their excellent start to the season on track.

Visitors Swindon have the best record of any side in Essex in recent years and have already taken a League point home from their March visit and present a tough night’s challenge.

The Hammers Co Promoter Jon Cook commented: “We are pleased with things so far and it’s going to be very interesting to see how we go against Swindon this time around.

Like our fans I am very excited about seeing our young guns Mikkel Bech, Adam Ellis and Ben Morley as you never quite know what to expect, apart from plenty of action, and with the rest of the Hammers they represent the most entertaining team I think we have had since 2008. Let’s hope they can go as far, if not further, than that side.”
