Vortex Hammers injury update

Edward Kennett has joined Skipper Andreas Jonsson in missing tonight’s match at Wolves, after suffering a suspected broken hand whilst riding for Rye House this afternoon.

The team against Wolves tonight will now operate R/R for AJ whilst Kus will guest for Kennett.

Hammers Co-Promoter Jon Cook added “This is a situation beyond our control and a one off. AJ has been on the phone to confirm he’ll be at the Raceway on Friday. We’ve covered for Edwards’ absence on Friday by bringing back former captain Davey Watt for a one off appearance. Tonights meeting against Wolves is damage limitation, but by Friday we’ll be ready to start our season again.”
