Vortex Hammers on the road

Fresh from their recent last heat victory over the Poole Pirates, the Vortex Hammers will be looking to maintain their push for a top four Play-Off berth  tonight as they travel to the Norfolk Arena, to take on the King’s Lynn Stars.

With fellow contenders for the fourth spot, Poole and Peterborough, both taking maximum points from their most recent fixtures, including a four point away win for the in form Panthers, the pressure is on for the Hammers to pick up points from their remaining four away fixtures to stay in the hunt.

The Essex based team head to Norfolk with the same team that pipped the Pirates at home.  With no guest facility available for Seb Ulamek, the Hammers will continue to operate Rider Replacement, as the Polish star continues to recover from his broken collarbone.

Ahead of tonight’s fixture, team manager Neil Vatcher commented “It’s another massive fixture for us, but the boys are all up for it and the Norfolk Arena track is one they all enjoy riding, so we’ll be going all out to take as many points as possible”
