Vortex Hammers target maximum points

The Vortex Lakeside Hammers aim to bounce back from their only defeat in seven matches when they meet current Elite League leaders the Wolverhampton Wolves,  in the return Elite league fixture at the Arena Essex Raceway on Friday evening.

Vortex Hammers Co-Promoter Jon Cook commented “we need three points to keep the fight for Play Off qualification a five horse race and can’t relax just because our rivals have injury problems.Both are tracks are very similar and Wolves have the best record of any visiting team to the Raceway.”

The meeting is the first since the club announced a permanent switch to reduced kids admission of £1 for all school age children up to and including the age of 16.  Entry tickets can be purchased on the night or alternatively in advance via the online ticket store on the main Hammers website.  The rider parade is scheduled for 7.45pm with the first race at 8pm.

Peter Karlsson,Lewis Bridger, Seb Ulamek, Piotr Swiderski, Davey watt, Tyson Nelson and Kevin Doolan

Wolverhampton Wolves:

Freddie Lindgren, Alex Davies, Ricky Wells R/R, Adam Skornicki, Ryan Fisher, Ludvig Lindgren and Jacob Thorssell.
