Vortex Hammers travel South

The Lakeside Vortex Hammers return to track action tonight, when they travel to the South Coast to take on the Poole Pirates.

The Hammers, who came close to earning a draw in an early season challenge at Wimbourne Road will be led by skipper Davey Watt, a former Pirate, fresh from his victory in the recent Eurosport Best pairs Championship with fellow Aussie and the Pirates former World Champion, Chris Holder.

Hammers Fast track reserve Adam Ellis has ridden at the Dorset based club since the early challenge match, when he guested at reserve for the Pirates against Belle Vue at the beginning of May, scoring 7 paid 10 points.  The action starts at 7.30pm.
