Vortex Hammers well represented for GB V Australia at Ipswich

Despite there being no home action for the Vortex Hammers this week, due to the British Grand Prix weekend in Cardiff,  current Vortex Hammers team members Lewis Bridger and Richard Lawson plus young Hammers asset Adam Ellis will represent Great Britain in the first of the ‘B’ Test Matches against Australia at Ipswich this Thursday.

To have three out of the seven GB riders in this match having involvement this year with the Essex based Club is an indication of the Club’s wish to see British riders make progress in the Sport.

In their attempts to find Hammers riders of the future the Club will continue to run the weekly Hagon Shocks Academy on their Training Track on Saturday’s during the summer months plus there will be monthly Friday Training Schools on the main track. Full details can be seen by clicking here for the Hagon Shocks Academy and here for the Training Schools.

The next home action for the Vortex Hammers will be on Friday 7th June when the Poole Pirates visit the Arena Essex Raceway for an important Elite League fixture.
