Full strength Hammers

Lakeside heat-leader Adam Ellis says he can’t wait for the Hammers to be back together again when the host Sheffield on Friday (July 13, 8pm).

The Hammers look set to return to full strength for the visit of the reigning Champions with Zach Wajtknecht free of grasstrack commitments and Kyle Newman successfully coming through last Friday’s meeting with Glasgow.

Ellis is expecting one of the tougher home meetings so far against Sheffield and insists another big team effort is required if they are to maintain their 100 per cent home record.

“It’s another big meeting against Sheffield and it should be a good one for the fans,” Ellis said.

“At the moment we just need Kyle back to full fitness and a full strength side again.

“We’ve had such a good start to the season; we’ve not had many injuries and no one has been struggling much.

“As soon as Alfie (Bowtell) found his feet in the Championship as well, we were pretty strong.

“But we all need to chip in with some good points on Friday and hopefully we can get another win as a team.”
