Tough night in Norfolk

After back to back victories, the Vortex Lakeside Hammers were brought back down to earth tonight as they suffered a disappointing 63-29 defeat at the hands of the King’s Lynn Stars at the Adrian Flux Arena.

GP star Niels-Kristian Inversen scored a full maximum for the home team, whilst their recent addition Vaclav Milik chipped in with 10 paid 13, including a couple of action packed races against the Hammers skipper Andreas Jonsson.

Jonsson top scored for the Hammers with 8 paid 10, with Mikkel Bech on 7 paid 8, including four points for second place on a tactical in heat 5. On a night to forget for the Hammers, it took until heat 14 for the Essex team to register a heat win, when Edward Kennett took the flag.

The Hammers will be looking to return to winning form tomorrow when they take on the Leicester Lions at the Raceway.
