Ben puts in the extra laps

Ahead of tonights eagerly anticipated Elite League match between the Vortex Lakeside Hammers and the Coventry Bees, local fast track reserve Ben Morley will be promoting the Hammers by completing a lap around  Southend Uniteds’ Roots Hall ground before they take on Burton Albion this afternoon.

In other news, Mikkel Bech continued his recent good form, winning the Danish Championship semi-final last night with 14 points.

Hammers fans are reminded that the first race commences at 7.45pm this evening, preceded by the usual Rider parade.
