Justin rides purely Elite.

The Lakeside Hammers have confirmed that young Aussie Justin Sedgmen will be a permanent member of the team during the busy month of August following his sacking from Premier League side Redcar. Sedgy has won a firm place in the hearts of club fans having stepped up his performance for the team since Richie worrall injury culminating in his recent stunning victory over Freddie lindgren.

Hammers co-promoter Jon Cook commented  “this is really good for us as we had two home matches that clashed with Justin’s Premier League commitments. Davey Watt has helped Justin with set ups and an engine and his form at home has been terrific. It’s a chance for Justin to lay claim to a permanent place with the Hammers for years to come and we will open talks with Swindon to that end in the next few weeks”.

The Hammers will not be redeclaring their team as SCB regulations allow for Sedgmen to remain a double up rider with Richie Worrall as he started the season in a pl 1-7.

With Worrall unlikely to return until September, Cook continued “Richie will need to build up his fitness as he returns and of course with one eye of next year it would be silly to race him in any away matches that will give him an average, but we do hope to see him back in action at the Raceway before the season is out”.
