The Vortex Lakeside Hammers are slashing prices to allow fans to be able to watch both this coming week’s exciting meetings at the Arena Essex Raceway as the Coventry Bees visit on Monday, 3rd June, and the Poole Pirates are the opponents on Friday, 7th June.
Fans attending Monday’s meeting, when normal adult and concessions prices apply, will pay just £10 to watch the Vortex Hammers take on the Pirates on Friday on production of their admission ticket from the Coventry meeting.
Coventry fans attending Monday’s meeting to support the Bees can do so for just £10 on production of a copy of one of this year’s Bees home meeting programmes.
The programme will not be retained by the Club. Entrance for this offer will be at the main double gates at the top of the approach road but please note that payment cannot be accepted by use of credit/debit cards at this gate.
Children’s admission (aged 6 to 16 inclusive) for both of next week’s meetings has been reduced to £1 to ease the strain on family finances.
Jon Cook, the Hammers Co Promoter, stated: “We hope this offer will reward our regular hardcore of supporters who have turned out in, frankly, rubbish weather conditions so far this season to support us and will also encourage more fans to take in Monday’s meeting as well as our normal Friday race night.
Whilst we don’t expect a great many Bees fans to attend, given the short notice, we feel those that do also need rewarding for supporting their team in person. Both meetings are going to be close affairs and it’s great to be back promoting Speedway sooner than we had expected”.
